Martin to host “Humor has left the chat. It’s time to bring it back” at Cannes
On June 20th at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, we’re bringing together leaders from some of the funniest brands to discuss why comedy in advertising is declining — even as the tactic continues to deliver results and consumers consistently ask for more humor.
Join us at MediaLink Beach for lunch and conversation, where Martin CEO Danny Robinson will lead a discussion with experts from the fields of research, marketing and comedy to discuss this very topic.
Panel members include System1’s Orlando Wood, who will unpack proprietary insights from a breaking global study on the barriers marketers face when considering humor; a roster of world-class brands that will discuss how they successfully navigate those barriers to make incredibly effective comedic work, including Unilever’s Global Brand Director (AXE) Caroline Gregory, Global Head of Brand and Marketing for OREO (Mondelēz International) Eugenia Zalis, GEICO’s Vice President of Creative and Content Michelle Moscone and Liquid Death’s Andy Pearson; and Rob Gregory of The New York Comedy Festival who will preview an upcoming masterclass focused on comedy in brand building.
Space is limited. RSVP is required.
