U.S. Banker Magazine Praises Brighter Campaign
Americans are racking up staggering credit card debt each month and Discover Card wants to help them spend more responsibly. The Martin Agency created the “Brighter” campaign to educate consumers about Discover Card’s Paydown Planner, a tool that can help cardmembers pay off their purchases sooner and owe less.
The “Brighter” print and television ads were highlighted in U.S. Banker magazine in July, with the overall consensus being that the campaign is helping Discover Card come across as responsible and interested in their customers’ financial health. The campaign has met with considerable success: Discover Card's website traffic has increased by 40% and the company is gradually increasing its share of the market.
